Spark Plug Wire End Terminals

This might be a new topic for this forum.
What is correct for 1938? Any opinions? (quickly attaching flame arrestor to my computer modem)

BTW no need to tell me about uninsulated terminals and high voltage; a good portion of my career was working with HV devices.

Thanks Art. I somehow thought this topic would be much more controversial. It is on the XK forum where they get into various insulated versions. Any other opinions, or is it that most wires have been replaced and originals not positively identified?
