I am considering fitting this adaptor on my 1.5 MK IV:
I searched this forum to find if anyone had posted a tread on the subject so as to avoid duplication. Originally it had a felt cartridge, I couldn’t find them so switched over to paper filters but the ones I find are either a but longer or a bit smaller than the required 8.5cm. I have been fitting 9cm filters but that ends up in crushing the element - Not desirable. Being in Pakistan it is not easy to import filters from my supplier in UK.
So the question is: Has anyone used this conversion? if so what is the experience.
