Hi team,has anyone upgraded head unit,mine has died,no volume.what unit would suit/fit best, thanks from Brisbane Australia.

I replaced mine with an Alpine. Got adapters to connect up, just plug in and go. Also a shroud to make it fit the Jaguar hole. However I doubt they are still available as I cannot find any reference to them on-line.

It might be best to try and find a Jaguar replacement from a dismantlers. If you are handy with wiring you should be able to get any replacement to work. Study the wiring diagrams in Haynes or Workshop manual.

Thanks John, I’d prefer the original, though a nice modern unit with Bluetooth etc would be nice,CD player as well.ill send pic on completion.

If you get a CD player for an original unit get an Alpine that will play MP3’s. The original unit is an Alpine inside and so was the original CD Player. You may need an adapter for the original m-bus DIN plug in the boot.

I’d like to keep it original if I can, it has power but no sound? Any ideas.
