Hello Jaguar friends,
I have a new to me 1975 xjc - US spec Strombergs with water chokes. I wish to convert to manual chokes. I have an older set of strombergs with manual chokes - Can I just swtich the choke mechanisms?
The Strombers on the car have been rebuilt, so I’d like to just switch the chokes out if that is possible.
The current carb and set up has been troublesome for the previous owner. He had mentioned also mentioned blocking the air bypass valves and temp compensators - is that a good idea?
