Sunroof tilt/slide removal

Hi Folks,

How do you get the tilt and slide mechanism off the rails?

They are engaged with the flex drive on the sides.

I tried using the motor, but I only got the tilt motion to operate.

Any help is appreciated.

I missed one picture.
This is the part I want to remove/slide off.

I have uploaded it before but here is then TSB Jaguar sent to us when I worked at the dealer.
JTIS is also a good guide for repairs.

I have probably done a few dozen on the 1995 to 2003 XJ sedans. (warranty did not pay much)

Careful with the plastic drain tubes on the corners!!!
