I am restoring a 1960 XK 150 FHC. I just removed the pan from the Borg Warner DG 250 automatic transmission, Looks like bad news. I need to find a shop with ability to rebuild this unit. Hoston, TX is the closest city to me. If anyone has any advise I would love to hear from you.

The BorgWarner DG (Detroit Gear) was used in Studebaker and Mercedes Benz, and is pretty similar to a lot of Fords. Any trans shop should know about them.
What do you mean by bad news? Lots of gunk? Broken pieces?
