I tend to agree with Frank.
As much as I love the TH400 and its lay back attitude on my V12, I would definitely liked it better if it had a lockup. Even more leisurely cruising and not to mention fuel economy.
And as Kirbert mentioned earlier, I bet Toyota must had a decent gearbox behind this engine?
