Suggest you specify what year and what market you vehicle is. Also, unable to tell if the other end (left end in the photo) of your yellow cable is connected ? From the photo, the other end may or may not go into or underneath the fuse box. Location of the fuse box in the photo ? Which fuse box is it ?

I found it was the only yellow wire but it broke

are you sure it was in use ?
ie any symptom of missing function ?

as there’s a clip on connection (red box between the yellow connectors) someone has hacked the loom, probably to install an aftermarket alarm, probably removed / disconnected since
