Under-Bonnet Cosmetics

I’ve never been fond of the modern trend to hide the engine under covers, which seem to be completely unnecessary. I have removed the covers, but now I’m looking at the channels containing the injector wires. I don’t think these really need any more protection, but they would look better under some sort of cover. These plastic channels look as though there might be an off-the-shelf (snap-on?) cover. Anybody know if these are available?

If not, has anybody found or made something up to cover these wire troughs??

Hello Bob - out of curiosity, would you posts some pics with, and without the cover - have been considering possibly doing some partial covering - as an aside not, I thought that I read somewhere that part of the use of the cover was to help channel airflow along the top of the engine so as to aid in heat removal from the area of the wires - Tex Terry, II - 1991 XJS V12 Classic Coupe, 1986 XJS V12 Coupe - sent 1/11/2021 1541hrs.
