bought a used wiper motor. however the supplier sent the entire part–just pulled the entire unit from a car. upon inspection there are two [2] washer nozzles and and electrical connection to each nozzle. what is the purpose of the electrical connections??. my 85 just has a single spray nozzle, and no electric connection, is this the new and improved model

Those are heated nozzles to warm up the windshield washer fluid. My wife’s 1990 XJ-S convertible has them.

Paul, you forgot to note that you probably have the only 2 of those heated nozzles left in the world

Not true! Michael now has two of the heated windscreen washer jets (DAC4244). That is of course if the plastic doesn’t disintegrate when he tries to remove them like ours did. I did luck out finding the four NOS heated washer nozzles I got on eBay. I installed two in my wife’s 1990 XJ-S convertible and have two more for the future just in case.
