yeah, before going down another road of repair, when you get to half a tank of gas and start getting the problem, take off the gas cap. Sure you’ll vent a bit to the environment, but don’t do this for long. And no screaming around corners which could slosh the gasoline out!
If problem goes away, then you know what to fix. If not, then don’t waste your time right now on the venting system.
