fuel pump doesn’t shut off.
Normally it is so that the pump is activated for a few seconds
untill there is enough pressure and then it stops.
What could possibly be the reason? And what to do aboud it?
How could I test whether it is the ECU or an injector or…–

It is common practise to bypass the fuel pump relay so the pump
runs all the time when turned on, the idea of the cutout is to stop
flooding from defective injectors.

Other wise you may have a sticky relay.

check the wires to the relay have not been changed and if not give
the relay a little tap with a screwdriver and see if it turns off.–

Mine did the same found out that PO had wired fuel pump to
different terminal on ballast/starter relay. This was done because
fuel rail would not hold pressure when fuel pump was off. Instead
of fixing problem it was patched to work. The problem was a fuel
pressure regulator leaking. Once that was corrected fuel pump was
wired correctly to starter relay. Now all works as it should–
