Yesterday my fuel pump was working fine. Today it is not.
I can put a 12V battery directly across the terminals and it
works.
I can turn on the ignition and the relays energize.
I jumpered the inertia switch and I can hear the relays kick
in and out.
I can’t find a listing for the fuel pump fuse, if there is one.
So what have I missed?
I miss its gentle hum.
Yeah, you probably miss the fact that the engine runs, too!
I seem to recall there IS a fuse in that line, like, right next to
the battery terminal.
Since you say the fuel pump control circuit in the ECU has already
been bypassed, I suggest you check the relay itself. Just because it
clicks doesn’t mean it works.
