[v12-engine] New V12 for conversions!

Wouldn’t be neat if folks didn’t have to use those nasty Chevy V8s to
repower Jags? It would be even neater if we could repower Jags using a
more-powerful V12 engines.

Here’s a link to a very efficient V12 engine that would make a great
powerplant for converted Jags:

Note that this motor makes its max power at low rpm, so smoothness of
operation is assured. Now all we have to do is to convince John’s Cars to
make up a kit for this thoroughly-modern motor, hopefully with a radiator
that can cool the beast . . .

No good, it’s an in-line 12 so it won’t fit without modifying the frame
rails.

I’m going for the lighter, more compact 10 cylinder. More room in the
engine bay.

And I thought I was crazy for wanting to weld a pair of Lexus V-6’s together! Put a clutch between the
crankshafts and get V-12 punch when you want it and V-6 cruise when you want it.–

Wouldn’t that be a W12 or VV12 punch?
