[v12-engine] Speaking of transmissions

My transmission (BW12) was rebuilt in 1986, about 35000 miles ago.
However, it started leaking again after a few years, and recently has
gotten worse. It still shifts fine.

Back in '86 the rebuild cost about $1200. What would I be looking at
now in terms of cost for replacing the seals?

I would think that all the external seals could be replaced in (broad
guess here) 2-4 hours with the trans still in the car. If you have a front
pump or t/converter seal leaking then, of course, the trans has to come
out…
