[v12-engine] Timing marks

I recall seeing a modification to install a timing plate so that it can be
viewed
from above the engine, does anyone know how it is done.

I have a 89 XJS v12. I’m putting the engine it back together.
I could use advise on crankshaft position marks and balance shaft
position marks. Do they face each other or away from each other Any
other tips on re-assembling would be helpful. Thanks–
