I have just updated my website with my latest project, a filter for
the crankcase fumes. I have always been concerned about the engine
burning oil fumes from the crankcase via the PCV valve. Venting to
the outside was not an option. I designed and fabricated a filter to
handle crankcase fumes and engine blow-by. The link on my website is:
Bernie that is really good work. Congrats as I had one of those “why didn’t
I think of that” moments! It appears very functional and it’s a nice
clean, professional installation too.
Thanks for sharing.

We did the same with the racer, but used a catch tank made in aluminum,
purchased from Summit Racing. It was a little less labor intensive, but
probably works no better. Mine is forward of the radiator, but I like your
placement better.
The only thing my catch tank has is a drain cock at the bottom. After a day
on the track you get an ounce of oil that accumulates in there.
