[v12-engine] V12 engine builders

Anyone care to offer some names of top flight v12 rebuilders
here in the states or England?
Street/performance, not racing engines.
Thx–

Thanks for listing Coventry West as a V12 engine rebuilder.

I need to let folks know that we’re rather particular about accepting V12
engine rebuilds. Because there are so few mechanics still around who can
make these engines run properly without overheating, our Rebuild Department
only accepts V12 engine rebuilds where the car is brought to us, i.e. the
customer drives/brings his car to us and drives it away when we’re done.
That way we can be certain the vehicle is running properly when it leaves.
The cost of doing a V12 rebuild in a parts and labor situation is such that
this is the only approach we can warrantee.

Additionally, the cost of removing, rebuilding, and reinstalling a Jaguar
V12 engine in anything other than an E-Type exceeds the value of the car in
virtually every instance. Because of this exposure, we almost never rebuild
a V12 in anything but an E-Type. And, to be honest about it, the cost of a
full rebuild on a V12 keeps most owners from having them professionally
rebuilt anyway.

GREG WELLS is correct a PROPER REFURBISH of a JAG V12, would
most likely cost more than the vehicle is worth!

its a shame things in this world have come to this, but we
probably havent seen the end of inflation costs rising.

but us old timers never had much in the old days, anyway, so
we mixed and matched and made things work, altho maybe not up
to factory specs.

they still run and we had fun–
