[v12-engine] V12 sparkplug gap

13.5:1 compression
MSD-6A
H.E.

I switched to a hotter plug to do some testing on my V12 and put
the gap at .035’’. The motor would start and could rev up if I went
VERY slowly, however the motor would shut down as soon as you tried
to rev to fast or put the motor on a load. I then switch the gap
to .025’’ and it ran fine. Just curious what type of gaps you guys
are running on your performance V12’s. Anyone experience this
before?

When I spoke with a MSD Tech Rep he told me that if I was using the
6A and the Blaster SS Coil (a very hot coil) he told me that an
increase of spark plug gap to .032’’ would be as far as he would
recomend due to the number of cylinders and the high compression
and high redline. I have a as of yet stock US spec HE (12.5:1 I
beleive but many here would know better than me). If I were you I
would try .027’’ - .030’’ gap. Not that much wider, but when you
start with such a tiny gap a small numerical increase equals a big
percent of increase.

ign box6A, I have gone back to 35 now due to low end with
