[v12-engine] v12 xj carbys

Hi
Have just serviced the carbys.
Unable to get the left rear carby to balance with the
front left carby, close, but not close enough. The balance
screw between the carbys won’t adjust the rear carby any
further.
Need some suggestions please. Have I got the butterfly
centred ? Can anyone help please.
Thanks you.

From memory with my carbed E-type there were several
vac/breather/air connections that only went to one or
other carb or vac valve. I guess if any of these were
absent or didturbed you’d get asymmetric flow and carb
tuning response.

Vacuum Leak at a gasket? Spray a small amount of soap water around gasket-ed areas. Watch for engine idle speed change.
