[v12-engine] What's that forward of the oil pan?

Whilst removing the oil pan, two screws are obstructed by
the cover and a black wire on the part forward of the oil pan.

It’s curved and black. The wire appears to come done from
the top of the engine.

Can’t find it on the CD? Any help? Can I remove it with the
wire plugged in, should I disconnect Negative on the batt?

Cheers.–

Crank sensor, this one tells the ECU when to fire the injectors. No
problem disconnecting it with the battery connected.–
