Good point Richard I think we’ve established they’ve had the heads off before. Strange there was info in the history talking about problems so I assumed they weren’t remedied. They refer to one cylinder with low compression due to valve issues but there’s no mention of the heads being off.
That said they’ve used different exhaust valves on each bank and although Bank B head gasket is nice , Bank A’s has rusted badly.
They mentioned running issues but the auxiliary air valve was rotten, 3 injectors were faulty, injector wiring has cracked insulation and a lot of connectors loose.
Meanwhile they put new leads and distributor cap on…
