My V8 is on the move for the first time in a number of years but only on a trailer. It is being taken to Ireland where I need to re register for an Irish appropriate year reg. number. The authorities will want to see the engine number and chassis number.
I know there is a chassis number on the rear valance and this is still there - just. I am not sure exactly where to find the engine number though! Can anyone direct me please. It is a 1965 V8. I can then clean up the area for easy inspection.

NB: I have found the number under the muck. Left bank cylinder head forward of the rocker cover.
