Has anyone got experience operating the pushrod engines with valve stem seals on the inlet valves? Were deflector, umbrella seals used or positive seals? What results and extent of use and wear? Any specific seals to recommend? I’ve run my Mark V 3 1/2 as original for nearly 20 years, but am pondering putting valve stem seals on when I pull the engine for tranny work.
We always just use K line inserts on the stems.Closer clearances than the originals, Works well.
