I see quite a few Vandervell bearings advertised and the associated description makes them sound as if they are the end all/be all in bearings. Is there something in particular that makes these bearings better than the rest and higher priced than their competitors? Metallurgy perhaps? Tight tolerances? Or just advertisers blowing smoke up our butts?
