Got a email request from Chris G about his working on installing vented inboard rear brake for his 1988 XJ-SC. No way to answer other than on the forum since we don’t see each others email addresses any longer.
So Chris to answer your question:
- The only shimming needed for the rear was to add the 1/4 in. spacers.
- The shimming mentioned in previous post was to correct the rebuild of front calipers.
- You mention having problem with your “girlings” but dont know what you are referring to. Allnew parts used on my rear rebuild including calipers and SS pistons.
