I recently purchased 1975 XJ6C and was wondering if someone can help me decode my vin and if there’s any current registry for these cars? The vin is UF2J50998.

Try www.xj6data.com and maybe add your car there with photos?

Also it probably has the BW suffix? That would be for a Borg Warner automatic gearbox.

UF = North American model year 1975
2J = Series 2 XJ6 Coupé
50998 = 998th Left Hand Drive XJ6C made
