Wanted - Jaguar Service Bulletins 1960-1971

I am building my own collection of original 1960s Jaguar Service Bulletins. I have made solid progress since commencing this endeavour and now have over 430 Service Bulletins between 1960 and early 1971. However, I am still missing at least 350 bulletins which I am keen to source. In particular:

  • All Service Bulletins from 1965 and 1967 (I have none from those years).
  • Engine B.31 to B.38 and B.41 to B.56
  • Carburetter C.23 to C.34 (save for C.28)
  • Gearbox F.10 to F.16
  • Rear Axle H.14 to H.19
  • Steering I.12 to I.31 (save for I.16, I.24 and I.25)
  • Front Suspension J.18 to J24
  • Brakes L.16 to L.21
  • Wheels and Tyres M.9 to M.23
  • Body N.15 to N.19 and N.38 to N49
  • Electrical P.25 to P.44 and P.50 to P.67

The above are some of the larger gaps. However, I have many individual gaps across the various sections so please also let me know if you have any individual Service Bulletins that you’re willing to dispose of.

Many thanks!

Phil

Phil,

You are about half way, there are a total of 910 of these SECOND EDITION SERVICE BULLETINS that are dated from January 1960 to February 1972, so pretty well cover the full Series 1 and Series 2 E-type period…
The 910 different Bulletins cover 831 ‘first issues’ another 72 ‘second issues’ that revise/update/supersede the same numbered first issue, 6 ‘third issues’ and indeed A.11 was reissued a fourth time
A.11 was first issued August 1961, A.11 (2nd issue) May 1962, A.11 (3rd issue) Nov 1962 and A.11 (4th issue) Dec 1962.

And note, B.114 the last of these SECOND EDITION Bulletins was issued in February 1972, with the next THIRD EDITION Service Bulletins starting from March 1972 onwards…

Hi Roger

Very useful to have the overall stats for these. My initial target is to get at least one of each of the 831 issued bulletins. For those with multiple issues published, I already have a few where I have both 1st and 2nd issue and one where I have issues 1, 2 and 3 (the challenge being, as you know, that dealerships were instructed to replace the earlier issue with the later issue).
