What is a XK150 3.4 head worth? Condition is good

Just my two cents, but I would say that condition and location are everything. Unless it is in exceptional, ready to bolt on condition, I would not call a garden variety 150 head particularly valuable (I may actually have one somewhere). Because they cost so much to ship, where they are located relative to the buyer is of some consideration. Beyond that, unless someone is trying to reunite it with it’s original chassis, I would not consider it intrinsically more valuable than a similar vintage head from a contemporary saloon.

You made several good points. I just checked e-Bay and they seem to have some value. Prices range from $700-1200. The key as you stated is there someone in MY area that wants a XK150 Head.

Hi Morris,

I’m in the Phoenix area. I also have a ready to go crankshaft 20 under that is in great condition, recently cut. In addition, a set of pistons and rods that look brand new. A sedan block in excellent condition, oil pan and a few other engine parts.
