What's it worth? XK140MC for restoration

I have an '56 XK140 MC I bought in 1963. Matching numbers I assume. Body is solid except for very bad doors. In storage since '68 but suffering from neglect. Engine+ transmission complete and untouched.

Dealer types are lurking. Any advise appreciated.

If they will take it, I would offer it on Bring a Trailer. Let the market tell you what it’s worth.

You need to check that the numbers really do match. It is important to some buyers if you put it on the market. Also which of the 3 body styles is it, and whether left or right hand drive. Pictures would be welcome. We love to see unrestored and reasonably original cars.
