I have this funny spacer in a box of stuff related to the servo and master cylinder.
Can’t figure out from my hundreds of photos where it goes.
Anyone has a clue?

Eric: Is the mystery part rubber? And what year XJ6 do you have, as it could be significant if it’s from your vehicle.

A wild guess from afar. the grommet for the firewall. The rod from the pedal to the MC travels through it???

It seems to be made of a light alloy, possibly aluminum.

how about size, diameter? Is this center hole threaded? Again, what size?
I’d see this thing on a longish rod, shaft, lightly fixing or clamping a breakable (plastic?) item via the shaft, meant for being fixed just finger tight.
