Where is the protrusion under the car body for the jack CBC1782 of Jaguar?

Hello,

Please tell me where we can find the protrusion under the car body in order to use the Jack CBC1782 in the attached photo for all the models of XJS.

Ehm… I could suggest following your intuition.

There must be something round-in-shape going inside (unless rusted-off).

Asking your wife is also highly recommended…

I’m sorry, I should have written that my XJS is 4.0 of the production year 1996.

In the meantime, I could find the 4 protrusions. The problem was solved. Thank you.

The jack in the boot is only for emergencies.
Get a trolly jack and jack stands.

Had a flat in the rain, first time the OE jack was used, the base plate bent and the car nearly rolled off. Use only in emergencies and chock the diagonal opposite tire! Never for repairs…
