I forgot all about this thread and posted in another one: X300 auxiliary heater pump - #19 by HarryE30
The engine speed signal is good, but the climate control module does not pull the water pump control line low. Connecting it to ground makes the pump run an heating works. However I have no temperature control an this is not a permanent solution. I am not sure what else to look at.
