I suspect that this is a problem on the SNG web site. It is one that I stumble upon quite regularly. If you have set up the web site to find parts for your particular car (S1 4.2 FHC), it won’t find parts by part number unless it thinks they are right for your car. Sounds a good idea - right? The problem is that it then depends on the person who enters the part to make sure that ALL the applicable models are entered. For the strapping studs, the only S1 car listed is the 4.2 DHC. None of the 3.8s and not the 4.2 FHC. This happens all the time with me, so I find I have to use the web site with a range of models selected to get what I’m looking for. Maybe someone knows of a better work around…
