Just saw something odd- a XJ-S coupe on a 4 wheel drive chassis. Wish I had time to take a photo, but it was going the opposite way on a 2 lane. Looked to be a facelift era, wonder what the drivetrain is?
Most of those have the Chevy small block and a Jeep or pickup frame. But the one in the picture has a puddle just like a jaguar.
Exactly what I saw; same color if I am not mistaken. Can’t be too many around, maybe relocated from sunny Florida to Michigan.
to each his own… seems like some people have a lot of energy … here’s a caddy a guy I know just put it on a 2004 crown Victoria Ford chasis
The puddle could be a/c condensation- no, wait the Jaguar a/c probably doesn’t work.
That was a one-off model made for an American that liked the looks but wanted something for off-roading. Or, it was just so cheap, just lying there in someone’s back yard for a couple years, and all it needed was the Teeves brakes fixed.
Or the coax cable…or something else simple.
