As far as your original question is concerned, I’m still rather confused by your description of your car as being a 1967 Series 1.5 OTS. Usually the unofficial term “Series 1.5” is used solely for MY68 XKEs. When you say 1967 do you perhaps mean that it’s build date is in 1967 even though it is a MY68 car? For example, does it have rocker switches (68+) rather than toggle switches (67-)? This may have an impact on which wiper motor is fitted to your car.
