Wiper blade parking prob

wiper blade will not park proper

Try checking the nut on the base of the wper arm it’s probably loose and the arm is not engaged fully on the taper of the drive shaft.
Be good if you posted the model and year of your car, as well.

The park switch needs to be replaced. I had it happen on my XJ40, as the wipers would just stop when they were switched off.

or even worse, not stop at all! On my X308 things got to the point where sometimes I would stop the car, get out, lock up, go into the shop, come back and find the wipers still running.

In my case I found the the least-effort solution was that I bought a complete used wiper motor assembly from a same-model car on eBay. It was fairly inexpensive, quick and easy to fit, and the wipers never bothered me again.

But as Neil mentioned, we don’t know which model we’re talking about.
