Wipers, parking - possibly stupid question

Parking the wipers is a matter of switching them off when at the bottom of their stroke?

I don’t see a parking function, I want to be sure I’m not missing something.

You are correct; you just time it carefully when you shut it off. It’s not that hard; I’m used to it. The parking feature came along later with the 140.

Parking showed up in '56 on the MGA, prolly on many others then too.

On the TD the motor was on top of the windshield frame, you manually disengaged the driven post from the motor and parked the blades
