Wiring harness XKE

Not sure what exactly you seek - but a good start may be to indicate what model and engine you have (e.g. Series 1, 2, 3… 3.8, 4.2, V12).

It’s long and thin and made up of insulated copper wires. Hope this helps…

In addition to identifying the engine and year of your car, you will need to specific left or right-hand drive, if your car is with or without A/C, if you have a coupe/2+2/OTS and whether the tranny is automatic or 4-speed.

AND – does your question relate to replacing, repairing or tracing wiring harness(es)?

Help us help you.

A brief search suggests that Sam owns a 67 FHC… possibly for the past 47 years.

any hints about installing the bonnet wiring harness… Can it be done without disassembling the lower nose piece??

Don,
You will need to remove the duct cover from the air intake area and you should have your headlights and turn signal housings removed. Then you can access the spaces you’ll need to install the bonnet harness and connectors.

Thanks… was worried I would have to remove the bonnet and the lower section… my right parking light shows 12 v but not enough current to light the bulb… probably the connector block…

Taking out the sugar scoops for the headlight openings can be a pain, but that’s the only way to get your hands in there. Good luck
