Would it be a good idea for moderators to be indentifiable?

Just seeking opinions here, as I do not know who the moderators are, except that “admin” are identified

I thinks its slightly possible people might behave better if they are clear about whom the moderators are

I personally dont mind either way, as I endeavour to conduct myself within the forum rules, and if I dont (or even do) and get contact from a moderator (which I havent), I would respect their requests

If the moderators do not wish to be identified, I think that should overule any other consideration

Moderators ARE identifiable. Look at my avatar. To the right of my name is a small shield, half white, half dark. Hover your cursor over it, and it says “moderator”. All moderators have that.
