Hello.
I’m now a proud owner of a pre-owned '02 x-type 5sp manual.
It’s awesome but it lacks the 6-disc Cd changer.
In seeking one from the dealership, the add-on was a $1000 ordeal.
There’s got to be a less expensive way.
Can anyone recommend a good CD changer unit that works with the
existing CD Changer controls of the Standard Jag unit?
I assume Alpine would make something compatible.

Only Alpine make such an accessory, but will only make available
via Jag dealers. Look on E bay; do crop up there; you’ll also need
a connection cable.
Nothing else will connect into Jags optical bus.–
