Well I got charged 50 pounds sterling today to be told that
my CD Changer was shot, my question is, are there any CD
changers out there that a compatable with the Jaguar head unit??–

I asked the same question in my car hifi specialist shop. The
answer is no, nothing else is compatable with the fibre optic
wiring set up. Try ebay for a new cdc.–

I don’t have CD Changer in my 2003 X-Type and have been searching
for a long time that there is no substitution at all up to present
moment if you want to use the audio control buttons on the steering
wheel. I read an article from the internet that you can install an
after market CD Changer by using FM moderator instead of using the
fibre optic pre-wired at the trunk.

If you can find an after market CD Changer, I would like to hear
from you too. However, an after market CD Changer (Alpine) can be
installed in S-Type. Surprise!–
