I got a ‘Viper’ remote starting unit for Christmas. Has
anyone ever tried putting a remote starter on their X-type??
I have the ‘interface’ adapter ‘expresskit’ that apparently
is needed for the X-type. I’m hesitant to try installing it,
since there are no Jaguar dealers here in Alaska if there is
any kind of computer code lock-out due to the unit being
incompatible, and my car chip/code not working any longer.
It would sure be nice to be able to start the car from
inside the house when it is -30C.–
