The Jaguar folks came out to collect my car today to change the
door handle again as they were not happy with the way the old / new
replacement was painted.

Before they drove off I jumped in and did a few excessive tight
turns in the car park and the bumping noise only happend here and
there. The Jaguar chap said that it was OK and that it was just
the tyre being pushed forward sideways and so it was skipping. He
said we will check it out though. When he brought the car back he
said that the steering was fine and that it was just the tyre
skipping. So I guess if yours is the same as mine - it’s OK. :o)–

Hmm…mine is more of a mechanical sound (like a clunk) than a
tire/rubber sound.

I have ruled out the cans of soup rolling around in the trunk–I
ate those.

At 10k miles I will ask about it anyway. But if others have heard
it, I am not quite as concerned.–
