Noticed a strong smell of petrol from my 2005 X Type each time I
put it away in my garage. I just put it down to having perhaps
revved as I was turning the engine off but mentioned it to the
dealer anyway and he told me to bring it in.
It turned out to be a leaking petrol pump which was very quickly
diagnosed and replaced. Just thought I would share this because I
am told there have been several with the same problem.–
