[x300] ignition timing on x300

S O S the local jaguar in the philippines says there are no
posible means to adjust the timing of my Jaguar Vanden Plus, my car
from idle speed when you suddenly step on the accelerator pedal the
reacts is a drop in RPM then after a few second or two will rise
back to normal RPM, its as if there is a delay with the timing. Can
some one please advice me of the right procedure to correct this
fault?–

It’s not timing - could be an inlet vacuum leak, EGR sticking open, bad MAF
etc causing weak mixture when you step on it.
