[x300] Oil Extraction Question to Win Dooley

On Monday, Win, you wrote in a thread on this same subject …

''Jack, I put the wife’s X350 about 1 degree nose down this morning,
and, with the oil warm, but not hot, extracted what looked to be
7.5 quarts from the sump (my extractor only goes to about 6 quarts,
and my half gallon milk jugs are not finely calibrated). I didn’t
bother with the filter, so I left a bit of oil there.

Win: Do I read this correctly ???

You suck out the oil and DO NOT change the filter ?

Is that what we read here ? Please clarify.
