[x300] speed sensor

Just a quickie: does XJR6 have the speedo sensor on the diff
cover like the others? I know that the GM 4L80e has built in
speed sensors but not sure if Jaguar use them.

The trans itself has input and output speed sensors. AFAIK the info is used
only as part of transmission control; that is, no other system on the car
uses the info from those two sensors. I might be wrong.

The ABS has a speed sensor at each wheel, one of which provides a signal for
the speedo…left rear as I recall.

Nothing in the differential.

is it in the left rear or right rear? I am getting 2 different infos here. Or is it related to US, left hand driving cars?
