[x300] Toe Data Conversion - Degrees to MM

Hi All,

Would anyone know if there is data for front and rear toe expressed
in mm rather than minutes?

Many alignment shops still work in mms, but I suspect their sources
of the data they have.

I know the spec. is Front total 5 minutes +/- 10 minutes, and Rear
total 15 minutes +/- 20 minutes, but in mm’s ??

Speaking of alignment and getting it done correctly (my biggest
headache along with many others with both XJ40’s and X300’s), can
anyone recommend a good place in or around London? (I live in
central London).

My PAJ is a 1996 Sovereign on 16’’ wheels.

Regards,

Bill Taylor.–

It is straightforward triginomity. Use the law of sines, the
radius of the tire, and a sine table. 1 minute is 1/60 th of a
degree. If you need the conversion, report back the tire diameter
and I will give it a minot brain strain. However, glancing at
your numbers, it says that zero toe is in spec, with a small bias
positive preferred.–
