I was wondering how much water comes out of the drain tubes
in the wheel wells.
I shoved them up into the holes they come out of in order to
try and solve the dreaded and infamous whistle. It did not
solve this problem. Now I can’t get them back out of the
holes without taking the plastic liner off.
I don’t really like the idea of water building up back there
but I may leave them alone if only a small amount of water
actually comes out of them.

They are drains for the sunroof, so it depends on how much the sunroof seal
leaks and how much it rains on the car.

Mine has two per side. I think one pair are the sunroof & the
others help drain the scuttle panel (area in front of the
windscreen). Its not a big deal to remove the plastic liners, just
pull out the plastic pins all round after removing the road wheel.–
